ASHLYN HELMS

Hello! I am a graphic designer from Matthews, North Carolina. My love of art began in elementary school and I have pursued it ever since. I wanted to learn how to be a better artist, so I took painting classes all throughout my middle and high school years. I am a graduate of Campbell University with a degree in graphic design and a minor in marketing.

Good graphic designers are excellent visual communicators. They take a vision from a client and make it come to life, while adding a touch of their own style. Graphic design involves more than just typing words, changing fonts, and playing around with background colors. They think, organize, plan, draw up rough drafts, and revise their work over-and-over again. I handle each project with care, because it is ultimately a representation of myself. My craftsmanship and overall design represent my effort and my thoughts about my work. I would describe my design work as clean, organized, and simple. I love trying new things when it comes to my graphic design work. This is why I don’t want to put a limit on my style. I am still experimenting as a designer, but I do hope that you, the viewer, will say that my work is in some way, inspirational to you.
